Public Enemy to perform in Glasgow

Hostels in Glasgow may be a good option for music fans heading to the city to see Public Enemy perform.

The hip hop group will be playing at the O2 ABC in Glasgow on September 6th and fans can pick up tickets for the show for £26.75 including the booking fee.

It has been revealed that Public Enemy will be performing their third studio album, Fear of a Black Planet.

This was originally released in April 1990 and it includes themes of empowerment within the African-American community that were affecting people at the time of its conception.

In 2003, Fear of a Black Planet was ranked number 300 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Fans will hear tracks from the album such as Fight the Power, 911 is a Joke and Power to the People.

Public Enemy originally formed in Long Island, New York in 1982.
