David Essex heading to Edinburgh Playhouse
People planning a stay in hostels in Edinburgh may want to check out a new show in the city starring David Essex.
The 63-year-old will be starring in the West End musical All the Fun of the Fair at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
A statement from the theatre said: "Featuring a mix of David Essex hits alongside brand new songs. With crafty cons and candy floss - dodgems and death-defying feats - fairground horses and fights - romance and rock 'n' roll - you're sure to go on a rollercoaster of a ride.
"Inspired by David's bestselling album ... All the Fun of the Fair features a helter skelter of hits."
Those attending will hear classic tracks such as Hold me Close, Rock on and Me and My Girl -Nightclubbing.
All the Fun at the Fair will be being performed between October 4th and 8th.
Essex recently joined the cast of EastEnders as Eddie Moon, the uncle of Alfie Moon, who is played by Shane Richie.
