Spamalot coming to Glasgow stage

Fans of comedy troupe Monty Python could stay in hostels in Glasgow after seeing the stage production of their film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Spamalot will be performed at the Kings Theatre in the city between March 12th and 17th 2012.

Ticket prices for the show vary and the production is suitable for anyone over the age of eight.

Commenting on the musical comedy, the theatre said: "Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table and features a bevy (or possibly a brace) of beautiful show girls, witch burnings (Cancelled too expensive) not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people."

Those attending will be treated to songs such as He Is Not Dead Yet, Find Your Grail and the nation's favourite comedy song - Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

The original Broadway production of Spamalot won three Tony Awards, including the Tony Award for Best Musical.
