Dolly Parton coming to Glasgow

Dolly Parton is coming to Glasgow for two days in August, on her Better Day World Tour.

The legendary country singer is all set to perform at the Glasgow SECC on the nights of August 20th and 21st on the European leg of the globe-trotting tour.

At the age of 65, Dolly shows no sign yet of slowing down and people attending will likely need to recover in Glasgow hostels after a night of dancing to all her classic hits.

The singer-songwriter is touring in support of her latest album, Better Day, her first record since 2008's Backwoods Barbie.

In her five-decade career, Dolly has released nearly 60 studio albums and 106 singles.

Some of her best-loved hits include Joshua, I Will Always Love You, Love Is Like A Butterfly, Starting Over Again, 9 to 5, Why'd You Come Here Looking Like That and Yellow Roses.
