Book into Glasgow hostels after seeing Batman live

Batman Live will be coming to the SECC from August 3rd until August 7th.

The live-action extravaganza is coming to Scotland as part of a world tour, and people attending can book into Glasgow hostels for the night.

DC Comics' most popular superhero will be battling foes including the Joker, Catwoman, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Two Face, The Riddler and Harley Quinn, with the help of Robin, Commissioner Gordon and Alfred the Butler.

Based on a story created just for the show, the theatrical performance is filled with death-defying stunts and all manner of aerial acrobatics.

Gotham City, Wayne Mannor, the Batcave and Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane are all depicted on the stage in the awe-inspiring show.

The Batman character has been one of the favourites for generations of children and adults alike, since he was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger in 1939.

In that time, he has crossed over into almost every medium, with several high-budget films being produced, most recently Christopher Nolan's 2008 epic, The Dark Knight, starring Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart.
