Edinburgh's City Art Centre to host David Mach exhibit
Art fans who are planning to stay in city centre accommodation in Edinburgh may want to check out a new David Mach exhibition being held in the City Art Centre.
David Mach - Precious Light: A Celebration of the King James Bible is due to open at the museum on July 30th and it will run until October 16th.
Entry to the exhibition costs £5 for adults, while concessions are priced at £3.50 and children go for £2.50.
Mach is well known for his sculpture work. This exhibit focuses on the themes and legacy of the King James Bible and has taken three years to prepare.
Speaking about the show, the artist said: "The King James Bible can't be equalled in the sheer magnitude of influence it has had on our culture and on the way we think and talk right to the present day.
"The Bible has all the themes and inspiration an artist could want, struggle, pestilence, love, war - it's dripping with emotion and drama."
The King James Bible celebrates its 400th anniversary this year.
