Indie comedy to be performed on Edinburgh stage

City centre accommodation in Edinburgh will no doubt be in demand with people looking to attend this year's Festival Fringe, which takes place between August 5th and 28th.

Theatre fans planning to attend may be interested in checking out an indie comedy set to be performed at the Traverse Theatre while the festival is taking place.

The Monster in the Hall will run from August 4th through to the 28th and adult tickets are priced between £11 and £17 depending on which performance you go to.

Attendees will enjoy a comedy about a girl, named Duck, who is on the verge of a nervous breakdown while caring for her biker dad.

A statement from the theatre said: "Her Dad … is a spliff smoking, bike riding, heavy metal and horror movie loving, pizza eating widower who's brought up Duck since the death of her Mother.

"The two of them are just about surviving when one morning the Duke wakes up blind and the Duck hears that the Social Services are coming to take her away."
