Glasgow to welcome Annie
Fans of Annie may want to stay in hostels in Glasgow after seeing the musical performed in the city.
The Broadway show will take place at the King's Theatre between September 27th and October 1st.
Starring Su Pollard and David McAlister, the production tells the tale of 11-year-old orphan Annie who is determined to find her real parents.
Those attending will be treated to classic tracks from the show, such as Hard Knock Life, You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile and Tomorrow.
A theatre statement said: "One of the most successful musicals of all time, this endearing tale of little orphan Annie is back, giving a whole new generation the chance to experience this enchanting musical about never giving up hope.
"Annie is a delightful theatrical experience for the entire family. It's no wonder that this heart-warming show has become a contemporary classic."
The musical was first performed on stage in 1977. The film, starring Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney and Carol Burnett, was released in 1982.
