Funeral For a Friend heading to Newcastle

Fans of Funeral For a Friend may want to book city centre accommodation in Newcastle so they have somewhere to stay after seeing the band perform.

The Welsh rockers will be playing at the O2 Academy Newcastle on October 25th and tickets for the event cost £16.50 without the booking fee.

While the band may well treat fans to popular tracks from their back catalogue, they will no doubt be playing songs from their new album, Welcome Home Armageddon.

The album includes tunes such as Front Row Seats to the End of the World, Damned If You Do, Dead If You Don't and Spinning Over the Island.

Drummer and vocalist Ryan Richards spoke about the new album in an interview with hailsandhorns.com earlier this year.

He told the news provider: "I think in the past we repressed some of our own instincts and ended up losing track of what it is we were trying to achieve, musically, with the band.

"Us sounding heavier this time around is more of a natural thing, as that's naturally the type of music we write instinctively."
