Echo & the Bunnymen to play in Glasgow

Hostels in Glasgow could be ideal accommodation for music fans planning to see Echo & the Bunnymen play in the city.

The band will be performing at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on September 28th and tickets are priced between £22.50 and £35 excluding the booking fee.

Fans of Echo & the Bunnymen may be particularly keen booking tickets to the event, as it was recently announced that the Ignition festival, which the band was due to play in, has been cancelled.

Those attending the Glasgow gig may well hear classic tracks by the band, such as The Killing Moon, Nothing Lasts Forever and Seven Seas.

In an interview with the Aquarian Weekly earlier this year, frontman Ian McCulloch explained what made him enter the music industry.

He told the news provider: "I saw David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust and it stuck with me, I was sure for years after that, it was what I was going to do. I felt I would be singing in a band and writing great songs my whole life. It was what I wanted."
