Hard Fi to perform to fans in Newcastle

Fans of Hard Fi may want to think about booking rooms in Newcastle hostels as the band is set to perform there in September.

The Surrey-based band will be playing at the University of Northumbria on September 29th and fans can pick up tickets for £18.50 without the booking fee.

Fans will no doubt be treated to tracks of the group's latest album, Killer sounds, which is due for release on Friday (August 19th).

This includes songs such as Good for Nothing and Fire in the House.

Hard Fi may also play some of their best known tunes, such as Hard to Beat, Working for the Weekend and Cash Machine.

In a recent interview with counteract-magazine.com, guitarist Ross Philips revealed what it was like to come back after the band's break from the music business.

"We were worried we weren't going to be relevant anymore and that no one would want to hear our new songs," he told the news provider.

"However, we gave a few copies of demos out and it just went from there. People started talking and saying nice things, which to be honest was a bit of a relief."
