Omid Djalili stands up in Glasgow
The award-winning stand-up comedian, TV and movie star Omid Djalili is hitting the road again for a new tour which sees him visit Scotland in November to entertain people staying in city centre accommodation in Glasgow.
The subversively funny comedian plays on his Iranian heritage, acting up to all the old cliches and stereotypes before he quickly pulls the Persian rug out from under his audience.
Winner of the Time Out Award for Best Stand Up, the EMMA Award and also a nominee for the South Bank Award and the Perrier Award, Omid is a star recognised around the world for his hilarious style of comedy.
He also picked up the Best Actor Award at the Turin Film Festival for his role in The Infidel, a gong previously won by a certain Bill Murray.
Omid Djalili: Tour of Duty comes to the King's Theatre in Glasgow on November 20th. Tickets are priced at £22.50 and the doors open at 7.30pm.
