Snow Patrol to kick latest UK tour off in Glasgow
Indie rock giants Snow Patrol have announced details of a New Year tour, with music fans staying in city centre accommodation in Glasgow to get the chance to see the band on January 27th.
Coming as the Northern Ireland group prepare to launch their sixth album next week, it has been confirmed that they will play ten shows across the UK at the end of January and the start of February next year.
Notably, they will kick the cross-country jaunt off in Glasgow, meaning fans seeing them in Scotland's biggest city may be treated to an extra-special performance as they work hard to perfect the setlist.
After Glasgow, the Snow Patrol tour bus will head to Aberdeen before heading down to England, where the band are due to perform in cities such as Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham and Sheffield.
Demand for tickets is likely to be high following the band's triumphant return to the live scene at Belfast's City Hall.
The Ulster rockers played to 15,000 fans at a free show held right outside the historic venue as part of this year's MTV EMA Awards.
