Festival favourites The Correspondents coming to Edinburgh

Edinburgh hostel guests have the chance to see festival favourites The Correspondents in December when they play a live gig at the city’s Bongo Club.

Having blown crowds away at Glastonbury , Bestival and Secret Garden Party to become one of the most talked-about bands this summer, The Correspondents are heading north to bring their unique blend of hip-hop, swing, reggae, dubstep and electro to Edinburgh.

Playing at the Wonky club night, The Correspondents are supported by the incredibly refreshing band Auntie Flo who joyfully stick all kinds of world music, a smattering of Chicago house and a sprinkling of Detroit techno in a blender to create a refreshing dance floor genre all of their own.

Resident DJs Wolfjazz and Hobbes will be manning the decks for eclectic sets of hip hop, beats and bass, dubstep, afrobeat, electro and everything inbetween.

Wonky featuring The Correspondents and Auntie Flo at the Bongo Club is on Friday December 2nd from 11pm until 3am.

Tickets cost £8 or £10 on the door. Visit the Bong Club website to buy tickets.
