Feist heading to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

Fans of the acclaimed musician Feist will be booking hostels in Glasgow next year when the Canadian singer heads to the city's Royal Concert Hall.

Having released her fifth album Metals in September 2011, Feist is taking the masterpiece on tour, calling at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in March 2012.

Taking her back to more traditional song-writing, Metals has a distinctly folky country feel to it, bringing her distinctive baroque pop style to the fore.

Influenced by the likes of Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell, Feist's music remains original, individual and experimental and this has in no small part contributed to her international fame.

Having sold over 2.5 million albums worldwide, Feist has achieved success from both critics and consumers alike with previous albums The Reminder, Let It Die and Open Season.

She has also been nominated for four Grammys and has won nine Juno Awards.

Feist plays at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Tuesday March 27th. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £23.50 and £26.
