Fans wave goodbye to Westlife at the Glasgow SECC
One of the most successful boybands of all time are finally calling it a day, but there is still a chance for fans to see Westlife one last time when they bring their Farewell Tour past hostels in Glasgow for three nights at the SECC.
Having released their last studio album over a year ago, rumours of a Westlife split had been rife for some time before the Irish boyband announced that they would make one final Farewell Tour before calling it time.
One of the bands to inspire the X Factor, Westlife were signed up by Simon Cowell in 1998 and managed by Louis Walsh years before the television show was created.
The band have been together for 13 years now and having released their Greatest Hits earlier this year, Nicky, Kian, Mark, Shane and Brian are embarking on one last tour before they go their separate ways.
Westlife: The Farewell Tour comes to the Glasgow SECC on Saturday June 16th, Sunday 17th and Tuesday 19th. Tickets cost £41.50 plus booking fee and doors open at 7.30pm.
