The Jezabels bring their magical music to Edinburgh

Having been quietly plugging away, gigging in Australia and recording their beautiful brand of pop-inspired indie folk, The Jezabels are now heading to the other side of the world for a UK tour.

On the back of three EP releases, it took the Antipodean foursome quite a while to pull together their first album, but have just released what is an exquisite debut LP, Prisoner.

While their track Hurt Me was iTunes single of the week, their music also featured on the Red Bull video of acclaimed Scottish trials bike rider Danny Macaskill, garnering them fans who were perhaps outside their initial base.

An elegant band, their live performances are fused with the beauty and subtlety of their music and fans will no doubt be eager to see them perform at the Electric Circus.

The 350-capacity venue in the Scottish capital is a great, intimate music venue and perfect for a band like The Jezabels.

The Jezabels play at Electric Circus on Monday February 27th. Tickets cost £8 plus booking fee and doors open at 7pm.
