The Heights brings modern drama to Newcastle theatre

Set on a fictional council estate, a stunning new play at the pioneering Live Theatre will challenge people staying in Newcastle hotels when it hits the stage in April.

Life on the Heights estate is not much fun for Lillie Lee as her illness keeps her locked away in her bedroom feeling alone and abnormal.

Through her solitary window she maintains her one connection to the world outside, observing those who live nearby and entertaining herself dreaming up stories about their lives.

Then a random meeting with another girl who lives in the Heights brings Lillie her first friendship, but will it prove to bring more danger than she can handle?

Written by Lisa McGee and directed by Phil Hoffman, the Heights is a compelling play that stars members of the Live's talented Youth Theatre.

The play runs from, Tuesday April 3rd until Thursday April 5th. Tickets cost £10 or £8 for concessions and performances start at 7.30pm. The show is not suitable for children under 13.
