Madonna set to play Murrayfield in Edinburgh

Fans of Madonna lucky enough to get some tickets to her show at the Murrayfield Stadium may like to retire to city centre accommodation in Edinburgh afterwards.

The pop superstar is set to make her way to Edinburgh on July 21st as part of her next world tour, which kicks off in Israel this May.

Sure to be an entertaining and powerful performance, Madonna is likely to play tracks from her 12th studio album MDNA, which is released on March 26th.

Other hits such as 'Like A Prayer', 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina', 'Material Girl', 'Hung Up' and '4 Minutes' are also likely to be performed by the singer.

The announcement of Madonna's world tour comes just days after she wowed 114 million people with her Super Bowl half-time musical performance, inspired by Cleopatra.

Tickets for the Edinburgh show will range between £45 and £125 when they go on sale this Friday (February 10th).

Due to the rather hefty price tag of some of the tickets, Madonna fans may like to book a stay at an Edinburgh hostel to retire to after the show to save some pennies.
