Enjoy some wartime music and comedy in We'll Meet Again in Glasgow

Glasgow hostel guests could find themselves transported back to WWII - an era of patriotism, community spirit, swinging music and innocent comedy.

All of this and more will be seen at the Pavilion Theatre's We'll Meet Again show on March 17th at 2pm.

Back due to popular demand, this musical will transport hostel guests back to the 1940s in a celebration of the wartime era and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June.

It stars Marilyn Hill Smith, star of the West End tour of The Sound of Music, as well as comedian Adam Daye.

Visit Scotland states: "For the younger generation the show is an authentic introduction to the swinging music and clean comedy of the period."

The play is named after the 1939 hit We'll Meet Again made famous by British singer Vera Lynn.

It is one of the most famous songs from the second world war period and resonated with soldiers and their loved ones who did not know if they would return.

Tickets to this feel-good show cost £13 or £11 with concessions.
