The Royal Highland Show is Scotland's premier agricultural Show which also prides itself on being one of the absolute best events of its kind in the UK.
Held over four days, it showcases all aspects of farming and rural life with a good measure of equestrianism in addition. Participants in 2008 included 1700 exhibitors in livestock and competitions, with over 5,000 animals, and over 850 trade stand holders with over 161,000 visitors making their way to the Show site which is located right next to Edinburgh airport.
