The Celtic Connections music festival will return to Glasgow in January 2009 for its 16th year.
Artists from around the globe will travel to meet up with Scottish talent in a festival of traditional music. The festival brings together world music, the Gaelic language and not to mention pipe bands from around the world including Canada, USA and Ireland.
Previous performers at the festival include K.D Lang, Steve Eale, Baaba Maal, Cara Dillon, Liam Clancy and much, much more. As well as some excellent performers you can also experience some of Glasgow’s best music venues including Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, The National Piping Centre, Oran Mor and Classic Grand.
